What a powerfully thought-provoking piece. Would that every parent and guardian gets to meditate on thess truths.
And Shannon made a wise and sound decision;
she waited.
She prayed again then asked Him what to do.
Five minutes later Mom knocked on her door again
then called,
"Shannon, I was sent to talk to you." .. this is my favourite part, Loanna. Yay, God! Hurrah and amen!!

you could have been a lot more creative. For, it

Yes, you are right, suicide is such a waste of a life and like you said, if parents took some time to devote to their kids, maybe these tragedies wouldn't occur. Well chosen words, imagery and rhyming to convey your thoughts. Enjoyable read. Faye
