I love the story. Kevin learned the value of money, but he also learned compassion. Kevin giving the money to the bird was special. The money meant a lot to him, but not as much as the bird did. Great work. Good luck in the contest.

This is well written and funny. Besides the ending which I really enjoyed, I enjoyed his learning what he could do with money and his early attempts to earn money by selling fish that he'd caught. By the time of the peacock incident, he was experienced at sales and ready to make a profit. Too bad his conscience got in the way.

This is well written and funny. Besides the ending which I really enjoyed, I enjoyed his learning what he could do with money and his early attempts to earn money by selling fish that he'd caught. By the time of the peacock incident, he was experienced at sales and ready to make a profit. Too bad his conscience got in the way.

From an early age, Ken discovered that coins held a unique and swappable value as compared to other mundane circular or cyldarically shaped objects.
At a sea side shop, he strolled...when he was two years old, our son, (it surprises the reader quickly as to who Ken is...builds a suspense...Hope this helps...
The ending was awesome and reflective of innocence... deserves a solid 5 for excellent. Good luck.

This very well written story was heartfelt and cute. I enjoyed reading it because it is non-fiction and believable. Children do some crazy things, however, most are kind and loving things that we adults would never even consider. How wonderful that your son is such a good child with a big heart. It will help him in adulthood, I am sure. And such a son requires the loving teaching of good, loving parents, I might add. Very well done, my friend.

This is so adorable and in keeping with the mindset of a small child. Children as so precious when they're just learning how the world works and so innocent. I didn't see any SPAG, but think it might benefit if you left a blank space between paragraphs. Good luck with the contest.
