Oh yes the sweet surprise. Once summer when I was about fourteen a group of us were standing around laughing and talking. This one girl announced that she had to go in for the night, without warning she kissed me full on the lips then ran inside. The next evening we put in some serious practice as we discovered even more of the joys of kissing. I will never forget that summer and the sweet surprise that came to me by way of an unexpected kiss.

Turned out she had a secret crush and I was too clueless to even guess. As usual she had to take the initiative. I am so glad that she did.

You never know
How little it takes
To make a small child giggle
Sometimes it's a cat's meow
Or perhaps a bag
In which the child can wiggle
There is nothing poetically correct about this little poem, but I had to send it to you anyway.
A delightful read, thanks for sharing

Just like this big gift bag turned into a happy place for Sawyer, you'll never know, all the possibilities, & too, that dwell in sweet surprise with such good examples given. Enjoyed this poem very much & was very well versed, flowing with ease & grace.

That is not just happiness, but a bundle of cuteness from the Cute Little One. It is amazing how the most ordinary things can provide hours of enjoyment. This is another well written and fun poem.

Never knowing is the true mystery in life; and would knowing make it better? Might take the fun out of it. There's rhyme and reason to what you write. Very thought provoking. Les

How can he fit in that bag?
Cute poem about everyday blessings that come as a surprise. It reads well. Every line is easy to get the idea you are putting into it.
Thanks for the uplifting thoughts:) Anita

The honest speaking optimist
recording good potential
Is what I see as necessary
And what is most essential
That needs work, but my meaning is clear.

In most cases, I relate the poem to the picture. In this case, your words had a different meaning for me. These words were also uplifting and motivation. So ... thank you. Enjoyed!
