Children can find happiness in mundane things. Sawyer is lost in his own world. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

You're welcome, Brooke. Maybe your daughter could put Sawyer in a box and mail him off to you.

Wouldn't that be grand? Actually, I'd rather she give me the postage to mail myself to them :-)

Unfortunately, Brooke. the PO has a weight limit. So does UPS. You would have to go by Freight shipping. LOL Charlie

A well shaped, beautifully molded is still over the 105 pound weight limit.

LOL! WHere can I buy a bag of that?

Good upbeat piece, for adults and kids alike. Yep, you never know. In my long life I've been surprised by some bizarre events that just turned everything around. Times like that make you wonder if there really are guardian angels. :)

Thank you so much, Phyllis. It is why suicide is such a waste - a permanent solution to a temporary problem. How many people meet that new person after suffering a broken heart or get offered a new job after losing their source of livelihood? - the list is endless. Brooke

I met Mark after losing the "only guy in the world for me"... LOL! He turned out to be a jerk anyway. Life is all about luck, I think. :)

This poem has a terrific message of life ha a curious way of working out. The serendipity and illumination of new ideas under unplanned circumstances are the hallmarks of learning and progress.

Falling Rocks=stepping stones. Oh that is good, really good.
As I am reading this, the news is covering the death of Robin Williams. So sad. Cures for cancer will be found...depression...I think not. Thanks for your little
drops of joy.

This poem speaks of hope and optimism, the message comes over really well, great rhyming and great alliteration with "stepping stones, dimmed and died," as always a pleasure to read, great writing,

Andrew

This is a great poem on life. I really like the last stanza ending. Great alliteration with dimmed/died. Nicely done poem Brooke.
