Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

The Fairy king has landed Ess in a hell of a quandry. She can't tell Shades why she has to find Daisy and she sure doesn't want to lose him. A trip to Paris with Shades would be so lovely! LOL! I enjoyed the scene, snod. Well done!

Thanks. Paris is OK, I suppose, but it's not Snodland

That's true. But the Eiffel Tower makes up for that a little bit.

This is the first chapter for me but I could follow the plot well. The beginning had a bit of intrigue in it. She waited a moment o;r two and closed the door.
That made me wonder why she was reluctant to go into The apartment. Was she afraid?
The characters are believable and the conversation was also believable . A man wants his girl to go on holiday and after he will start his new more conservative job.
but she has obligations...
I liked the chapter and it left me wanting to know what will happen next. The story did not lag and I was interested the whole time. Good job.

Hello Snodlander,
It's a nice piece of Fantasy Fiction beautifully depicting the struggle between professional life and personal life of a working couple.
Having got new job, Shades finds it convenient to go to some beautiful place in Europe to enjoy some holidays while his wife Ess is preoccupied with her work for Daisy's where about and is quite unwilling.
Wording is simple having smooth and captivating flow based on dialogues.
Description of persons, places and things is lively.
Interesting and motivating for the next episode!

Thanks. Part of the problem is that they're not married and still exploring the boundaries of their relationship. Glad you liked it

    Hi Snodlander,
    Thanks for this guidance.
I started from this chapter and the result is 'this problem'!
Anyway, it has increased my interest in the coming chapters.
    With best wishes,

Very well written snodlander - the entire chapter is succinctly written and keeps the reader highly engaged. Didn't see any typos either :-) Look forward to reading more.
