Essay on responsibility

I enjoyed your essay, I agree with you that we are responsible for ourselves to grow our understanding as no one else can do it for us, but we must become aware of the that need first. Awareness is the key. I see us all on a big ladder, each one on a different rung, some have not even stepped on the bottom one.
To quote Carl G Jung,
"Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes."

Very thoughtful essay on the nature of responsibility.
While I agree with most of what you are proffering:
"Each one of us is responsible for the amount of truth we can perceive"- so very, 100% true! Ultimately, we do create our reality - (which arises from our own state of consciousness) Most are not willing to take responsibility for this and blame external circumstances.
"Money is a representation of human effort"- perhaps you could explain in more detail this point. I know people who work 10 hours a week and make "obscene" amounts of money. Others work 50 hours a week in manual labor, killing themselves, for unsustainable living wages. (If you think you need great effort to make money- then you WILL have to work very, very hard - IMHO - the choice is ours to make)
"The Supernatural, miracles, fantasies and the like do not exist in truth. Those events that we assign to those categories are simply misunderstood or not understood at all." Are you saying that "miracles" are not really miracles per se but rather a natural extension of one's changed state of consciousness? - or are you saying they don't exist at all? More clarification needed here.
"Taming a group of people to perform service for the ruling class is not difficult anymore." - maybe - more and more people are waking up. I can see it everywhere. We just need "critical mass" to make it so. (IMHO...lol)
"we must take action within ourselves to make it so" most excellent ending! For, ultimately, that is the only power we have - it all starts within ourselves individually.
Overall, I love where you are going with this. Keep writing! It is writers like you who will eventually "inspire" others until we reach critical mass.

This is a well written article that expounds about how we live within and not without. I also like your thoughts on superstition. Superstition will only bring you down to a world in which fantasies reside. I enjoyed reading this philosophical piece of writing... John
