this is very well written, deepwater, excellent imagery of the memories that will always remain of the first love, even when that first love is lost to you. I enjoyed reading it.

Promises to stay always mostly remain as promises.life would have changed both .so it is possible that if they met again they may not even recognize each other!.A sweet nostalgic poem.

This is a warm nostalgic piece. There is such an innocence in that first awkward kiss and that feeling of 'never to part'. I guess this first love is a necessary learning experience.

Such a sweet and dreamy poem of yearning back to a first love and wondering if they remembered it too and accompanied by a very apt and cute picture.

It's a beautiful poem about the sweet memories of that first love, the first kiss, and all the lovely things. Very nicely written. I like the questions that you've asked in the poem. Good one this.

awh, the days of a summer love. Beauty in the night of the stars. First kiss by the light of the fireflies, Yes I remember, the innocent of young hearts beat wildly. If only we could go back.

This is a well=written poem and I think more than just fun. It has a powerful message about how an event can permanently change a life. Again, I like ending with the question. Good write, my friend~Debbie

It's interesting to imagine whether the actions of our youth, as far as girls and boys puppy loves, still resonate later on in people's lives. The is both humorous and sad.

Beautiful memories told with beautiful words! I like that you began and ended with a question? The first one leads me into the poem. the last one allows the poem to continue for as long as I care to muse about my own loves/my own memories triggered by yours. thanks! caroline
