Nice quatrain write using great descriptive words to describe the picture of your Grandson and his friend Chloe.
And you are right if you don't pay attention you'll never know when love will grow.

Dear Brooke,
I am so glad at least one of us is still inspired to write. That must be you, as I am having a dry spell. LOL . This poem tells such a sweet story of being aware when love could possibly become available to us, and to what extent we should go to maintain that love.
Sawyer waiting for Chloe is priceless.
Well done, Carolyn

Great set of quatrains about waiting and watching eagerly for the possibility of love as opposed to feeling sorry for oneself and letting life pass you by. A good lesson for us all! 8-)

This is such a sweet poem with a strong message and good imagery,
Should possibility be possible in the third line?
I like the encouragement to let go of sorrow, there is a time and place, but a life full of sorrow is a waste.

thank you for your thoughtful review - no, I'm using possibility as a noun - the possibility of love serves as an incentive Brooke

Ah, first love. I can remember it well. Just the possibility of being together was wonderful. I iked the 'open up your eyes' attitude of this. Great rhythm and upbeat feeling.

Chloe reminds me a lot of our granddaughter. We should always be attentive those around us. They may not be the love of our lives but probably need a little expression of love..
Well done, Buck

A sweet and simple message to always be aware of the ones God sends our way. We never know the impact we have on people - even the smallest gestures can make a world of difference in ways we never imagined. Every encounter is a "possibility" to show that love...

I couldn't pass up reading this one. I am still not doing any reviewing until at least Monday when my eye opens up a bit more. What a lovely poem about how love is so important and if we don't pay attention we can too often miss it standing right in front of us. Marvelous photo...Miranda is a great photographer. Enjoyed this one very much. I tried not to smile as I read it but failed...it hurts to smile!

Thank you so much, Valerie :-) I'm so sorry smiling is painful - I hope that damned doctor knows what he is doing. Brooke

Excellent. This has a very good message to give and the word flow evenly. The multisyllable rhymes are quite well done.
This is an excellent piece of work.
