Wow! What a lovely poem about funny faces (of Swayer and Miranda). Just love your clever wording; lends itself to wonderful progression, rhythm and flow. Beautiful rhyming and comparisions throughout. God Bless, Deb

Jill, thank you so much - I watch the news and get so depressed - the world doesn't need me to add to all the negativity

What a wonderful poem that you have written. It is so true that making funny faces can turn around your day in a second. Great job. Great picture as well.

Adorable! What a wonderful way to say
a smile will brighten your day
(every funny face I ever saw
included a smile to cause a he-haw!)
I loved the list of quirks of fate
(especially the one about peas on the plate).
Next time my troubles compile and abound
I'll remember a funny face can turn it around .

8-)

A wonderful optimistic poem about happy days being created by just having lighthearted fun, and just simply enjoying the day, and pulling funny faces to help things a long! Nice even 8686 syllables for great rhythm, good abcb rhyming! Well done, Brooke, blessings, Roy.

Making funny face to let out the steam when things go wrong and ignore the building up of pressure. I like the dancing of alliterations through out the poem. The back up pictures further enhanced the message.

Impeccable rhythm to support the lovely humour of this. Your examples of the disasters that beset children in the course of their everyday life are so true to life! Yet it only takes a bit of light-hearted fun to turn that smile the right way up again. An enchanting poem!
