Brooke, this story in your excellent poetic style is so entertains and a delight to read. I love all your poetry with your clever names and hope you one day gather them together to publish in book form. I just know kids would love them.
Best wishes in the contest.
Smiles,

Hell again Brooke
This reminds me in a way of Winkin, Blinkin, & Nod (kinda) Sometimes boys (large or small) forget to let go & just have fun. I enjoyed this one and the moral and feel of it

I love the name Zerubbabel and can imagine kids giggling as they try to say it over and over. Great point in this that when people can't agree, nothing gets done. A great example with the prospect of the boat sinking after its decades of disuse. All because Zee and Tobias couldn't agree. Both were so stubborn. Very interesting details about where each wanted to go. Zee was for heading east, but Tobias wanted to go west. Great rhyme and great story. judi

I somehow missed this name in the Old Testament, but you can be sure I am going to look it up. Thank Heavens, my husband didn't know of it or he would have wanted to name Steven it. He came up with some very interesting names for this poor child. I loved your poem. I smiled at the rhymes. Good luck with the contest.

Wonderful rhyme and cadence.

These characters make a great children's poem and at the same time teach a great life lesson.

Keep up the good work.
