This is really a great poem. There is real depth to this writing. The picture adds to the quality of pain the writer is attempting to describe. I find it brilliant and yet with so few words. Well done.

Indeed what good is any man without the ennobling grace of the God who created man? We have not the grace, the creativity or the talent to adequately express the qualities that make the world a desirable place to live in. Without God's grace no man is worth anything. This is a well written piece that makes one question his own worth and motivations. Well done.

The bible says, " what profits a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul" I guess you could almost be saying this, but this is more like a person who is institutionalised or incarcerated, I like you short poem which contains so much in so little,well done, blessings, Roy.

Last line maybe - he is so spiritual he has no survival skills?
Line 2 -he is so pure that people mistrust his pure motives?
Sounds like you are in torment over being spiritual in today's money grubbing, immoral world.
That is what I got out of it - I think.....lol

I read this several times and then felt you may be leaving it up to the reader to find their own interpretation vs announcing what is your intent. I took it to mean he may have any worldly possession, but if he is not confident in himself, loves deeply with his heart, and gives his soul to greed - what good is he? AT=/
