This poem flows well within its thoughts. It has a simplicity about its thoughts that kind of adds to the beauty of it. This was a well written poetic voice that I enjoyed reading... John

Love at a we age is cute, then there is the crush, then puppy love, and infatuation, love itself how did we all survive all of this in the real world growing up. By the way they are cute little darlings.

A very sweet interpretation of an adorable photo!

You have managed to tell a tale of romance while still adhering to a set rhyme scheme of ABAB. Your words read authentically, not forced as sometimes is the case when trying to rhyme.

    thank you so much Victoria... if you look at my archive of poems (over 800)I have posted in the last year and a half of coming to this wonderful site, you will find that virtually all my posts are in 4 line rhyme format..I just love to write in rhyme and I love to be inspired by an image or a photo. please feel free to check out any of my posts and give a comment as I love the feedback

A lovely song of sweet nothings. Deep, not deep? It doesn't matter because it's just fun and joyous. I can imagine this to music.

    thank you so much Tamzin for your sweet reply I didn't think of this one to music but as I write virtually all my poems I post in 4 line rhyme, be it AABB ABCB of ABAB maybe a bridge and a chorus could easily be added to a few of my simple rhyming poems?

    Actually the image is the exact thing that inspired me to write because that is how I write virtually all my simple but heartfelt rhymes I am inspired by the image be it a shared one on facebook or a mere quote or comment

this is a cute picture, dr dip, you did an excellent job writing this poem paying tribute to the innocence of it. I enjoyed reading this and making me think of my first kiss.
