Thanks so much, Linda - I asked Miranda what was going on - she caught him in the middle of shouting our her name, Momma - the photo was snapped on the open-mouthed second syllable. LOL Brooke :-)

This one is such a lot of fun, Brooke, and very colourful, both in words and the picture. I love all these crazy names you give Sawyer but they always work out perfectly in the meter, this one perfect for the children's book! Giddy

Outstanding job, Brooke, such a wonderful story/poem. Glad to say that I was able to read this one to my two granddaughters who are spending the night with me. I love the picture.

I love the names you come up with. Great tall tale about the adventurer. Nice imagery and loved the slight changes in each stanza. The picture was a great choice and made me laugh with his expression. Nice work.

Sounds like old Sam is first cousin to Pecos Bill and half brother to Paul Bunyan. Another hero in the making..
Say what you will and think what you please
I believe old Sam is a great big tease
Well done, Buck

Brooke,
ROFLMAO This is crazy. The look on Sawyer's face is priceless. That alone made me smiggle. :D
Easy to read and follow. No spaggies do I see. Still has me smiggling.
Love,
Barbara

What fun this is, Brooke. Reading your lines out loud is even more fun to hear the words. Love the look on Sawyer's face. I think you've immortalized a new legend.

I could see this as a rhyming children's book with some wonderful illustrations to accompany it. Of course, the picture you included of Sawyer is precious. I love how you come up with so many things that Samuel James Nehemiah Hill is able to do--very original and full of imagination!

Samuel James Nehemiah Hill is a very talented young man. I like the mono rhyming of each stanza and the descriptions of all Sam can do. 8-)
