RPSaxena, though I come from a completely different belief system as to who God really is, I find the mechanics of the poem balanced in its a-a-b-b rhyming construct. It also has interesting lore for one who is not familiar. :0 GracieAnn

The Hindu religion is full of such persona, but of course, Krishna is the Lord. My daughter has read some of the Indian epics, very spiritual and enjoyable. Your poem tells the story in rhyme so well with use of great rhyming and imagery. Enjoyable read, great picture and good luck in the contest. Faye

In many areas you would need to be a biblical scholar. But having said that, your poem was quite expressive and informative. You made good use of enjambments and having a firm structure to make for an smooth flow to your quatrains.
