A very nice poem with a peaceful, calming quality to it. I liked your choice of artwork as well. It complements your poem nicely.

4th line .... comma between swing and bring ?
swing, bring

Fave line ... "will you howl, or gently blow".

Respect the wind for the wind brings life. The winds bring warfare as well as love. Winds shift and change, it causes minds and opinions to shift and change. It can aid in growth or participate in destruction. Whatever the case the wind is essential to life.

Ahhh, reading good rhyme is like gliding along on a newly paved road with no potholes! You sink into the rhythm and it's so soothing. It was a great way to start me day!

This is a beautiful poem/song about the breath of God that creates and moves things . We see their effects, like the wind, but really don't know how they came into being. The effects of the waves, but what actually creates them.
It reminds me of the book of Job, after the man Job complained and God's response to him was...Did you know when such and such occurred? There were a bunch of " Did you knows"...and Job had to confess he knew nothing.
I love this message.

In the Christian religion the Holy Spirit is often described as the Sacred Wind. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

You've breathed a new life into the little wind, but shown us the true origins of that life. The parallel of the rose is genius, and says it all. I enjoy the descriptions, and the Psalm like quality of the verse. A prayer. Kenny
