Like your graceful, contemplative write.

I especially like you're second stanza.

I do spend a lot of time in meditation with the analytical mind turned off.

Had to read this a couple of times to disconnect my frontal cortex as per your request Victor, but finally 'got' your silence/stillness in all things, even the crappy things like getting old. Loved your thunderstorm's 'peaceful violence'. Got a chuckle from your photo as I've just come back from London.

Ha. That must have been a bit of irony, eh? Thank you, my dear.

Very refined muse and verses that stands out for me, "a garden
where simplicity grows
a life to love

tree house,
sitting time
like poetry imprisoned
by structure"
The presentation, rhyme and connectivity from between the verses is refreshing.

I loved this, beginning to end, especially the peaceful violence of the thunderstorm, and seeking the fall...just beautiful...Blessings...Judy

This was very liberating to read. It forced me to follow and I couldn't figure where it was taking me. I liked the style and the stuttered cadence to it. Great imagery and emotion

Well I enjoyed your poem, poets are like that, we do indulge in passing off the time by writing and be inspired by the afternoon, the view, the thoughts, the emotions it brings, captured in beautiful lines, as you did in this poem. God bless.

We all need to find that time of day we can just be no matter what it is for us. I loved the poem and I'm glad you found your place :)

My, this is a wonderful poem. Liked the rhythm that that the poem evokes. it starts slowly and then moves faster reaching a crescendo. It is like listening to a symphony playing 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik' by Mozart or 'Toccata and fugue in D minor' by Bach. Absolute brilliance and this enhances the imagery that your words have painted.
