The juxta-position of desirable and not-so-desirable is an appealing approach to delivering your message. I, however relate two the second sentiment in each couplet, so must enjoy the first by observation, not experience. Observing is also uplifting.

That story made this grandma teary eyed to. That is not at all good. Well maybe it is. It makes me miss my grandchildren. Thank you for sharing this poem. Love is meant to be shared.

Barbara, thank you so much. They are so easy to miss, so hard to kiss goodbye. I long for the olden days when everyone stayed in the old hometown and the kids and grandkids came over for dinner every Sunday :-) Brooke
