Brooke - believe it's made many of us teary. Love the photo.

I thoroughly enjoy the poem only I don't see the correlation with the photo. It's all in the eye of the beholder. That said, it rhymes beautifully and - as always - flows easily off the tongue. Perhaps my mood this evening, but I find it somewhat sad. Go figure. Jean

Adewpearl: I am saving my sixes for you. Excellent rhymes and love shines. More fun to have children so close to you, keeps you younger. Solitude is what happens when people don't treasure the little ones being close. Your family and photos are sweet.

There's nothing better than a cuddly grandchild, quite often my little granddaughter crawls up on my lap or my wife's, and it is the most peaceful and comforting feeling, Sawyer is a very cute boy! Loved your offering Brooke! Nice abcb rhyming, even meter! Blessings, Roy.
