This is a sweet, though poignant, poem. I really don't want to think about the saying goodbye part. That makes me sad. I know we all have to face those things, but I sure don't like to dwell on them. Beautiful job! Thanks!

It cam very unexpectedly to us. He was in good health we thought, but he died in three months time. It was earthshaking and left me in shock I guess. I couldn't shake it until I discovered poetry. Even then it took some time. Thanks Robyn. Hug your man. xxx Nancy:)

A very well-written love poem about two people who love each other so much that they cannot keep it for themselves and they constantly tell each other that there love will withstand the grave and will go beyond.

Beautiful poem as a tribute to your loved one who passed away. Those last few words ever said to each other will be a memory in your heart. My condolences. My son at 35 years old passed away from a fatal disease and I was there holding his hand when he took his last breath. God bless you!

What a heartbreaking poem, Nancy. Usually I don't read love poems. There is nothing more beautiful in life than our love for one another, but love poems are often too mushy, dramatic, or superficial to me. Yours is none of that. I really like "I Love You So." It's as sincere and real as it gets. And, it's so full of mystery. Why did the lover have to leave? You leave us wondering. That is nice.
