Beautifully expressive work Teresa, it feels like you've become one with your surroundings! The language you use is exqusite and so expressive, I can imagine myself being swept along with the beauty of your words into an ethereal realm! A fine free verse poem, beautifully written! When I read this a second time, I wondered if it wouldn't be much more powerful by eliminating the following verses. They are almost a bit redundant and the poem loses none of its meaning. Just a thought. The remaining verses are all encompassing.
I am one
with every living being
one with
the stars of the mighty sky

the fireflies twinkling in the night
I am
the sun
powerful, that no one lives without

with grass and birds and butterflies
with bees, and flowers and even cows

Why the reverse syntax? I do not know boundaries works just fine. And keep in mind that overuse of reverse syntax by lazy rhyme&meter poets was a major stimulant for the birth of free verse.
Other than that and your metaphoric claim to be the sun which endures while you cycle, I found this excellent.

well since this doesn't have rhyme and meter I can easily reverse this as it is free verse. Some things need a different way to be said. Thanks for the review.

This is beautiful. I love all your "I am" stanzas. You show the connection between man and nature. You bring in so many lovely images of the drinking the sunshine and stretching. The wonderful creations of grass and birds and butterflies makes the narrator feel a part of the beauty. Like everything else in nature, man goes through the same stages of birth and bloom and death.
