Triolets are fun because of the repeating lines. You captured the whole love of a mother for her child, or two people who cherish one another.
Excellent poem. Fantastic family.

Adewpearl: Excellent and loving of the last of you together. Savoring memories being made now...life. So many parents ignore their children and they are begging for attention. Treasure your precious family. I love your inspiration and thoughts of life.

Thanks so much, flylikeaneagle. My daughter and her husband dote on Sawyer. I like that they still hire a babysitter once in a while so they can have a date night, but other than that, they are all about their precious little boy :-) Brooke

Brooke: Thanks for sharing your photos and thoughts with us. Keeps us all young. My daughters are in high school and college. I am their helicopter mom. Everyone should spend time together, family is our first mission. Life is precious and love is the greatest...sorry about preaching. My degree is in advertising so I am learning from you and others at FS. Thanks for your edits and thoughts too. I teach Christian Education to the youth, spend time with youth at horse camps and traveling.

Adewpearl, it is a honor to know you. Thank you so much!!!

If There Were Only Just We Two.' What a lovely Triolet you have created here, Brooke. If there were only just we two remaining on this planet Earth, I'd savor life for all its worth. How beautiful is that? Well done.

There is a magical rhythm to this poem that repeats with great impact the bond of love and adoration between mother and son. This poem should be written under your family album of this picture. Well done, Brooke.

Wow! They seem to be having such a good time, those two!

I like the repeated lines in the triolet. I think the rhyme scheme changes in the second half, too. It's an interesting form. Good luck in the contest, Brooke.

A lovely togetherness poem, precious time for Mum and son. I am sure in the eyes of a child, his world consists of those he loves and that is sufficient for him. Well chosen words and rhymes to convey your thoughts and super pic as always. Faye

This is a great entry into the triolet contest, it was very honest and sincere, and your repeat line reinforced the message at the end, rather than it just been a repeat of the first line, well done and good luck

Hi Brooke,

It's me again (trying to keep on top of things for a change). This is so sweet. It reminds me of when my sister had her first baby and used to sing 'You and me against the world.' I realize your sentiments aren't the same as my sister's, and that you are celebrating a loving bond, not expressing angst.

Hugs,
Lou
