And the plot begins to thicken. I like the way you opened with the naming of the folds, the duties of a ranch and then added more suspense to Jim with weapons and vehicle.

Quite a ways behind in your story, but I'm determined to catch up. Now that I'm finished with my novella, I'll have more time to review. I really like your story. Love the Native American aspect. Great intrigue with the mysterious "G" man.

Thank you for reading back.

The plot thickens, as they say. Excellent dialogue. I love the character of the grandfather. He doesn't say much, but what he says is important. He is so wise, and the others seem to hold him in much respect. Intriguing story line.

Jim's vehicle had lots of interesting things; high powered guns, bullet proof vest and that all so important little notepad. Wonder if Soni will make a copy before she turns it over? Excellent chapter.

The run of this chapter and the story line suits me so much. I love your plot and the dialogues, neat and clean. The details in the post is enough to let a reader into the story line.

I didn't spot any mistakes that you made while enjoying the read. It was very descriptive with great dialogue and pacing.
The story is easy to follow and the characters stand off the page.
I love the accurate descriptions and names of the weapons and specific type of vehicle (a Suburban). It's those details that really make or break a story.
Great job.

I read this at my usual speed, and I didn't see any of the errors you mentioned, but since this is the first chapter I've read, I could not have spotted tactical errors in the who what when category. Seems excellent to me.

I didn't note any errors. It looks fine to me. Are there really mountain lions down there? We have occasional coyotes, no lions though. I think you are doing fine with this story. So far, so good. Have a great evening, my friend~Debbie

Thank you for dropping by and leaving this kind review. Yes, there are and last year they even jumped over fences into people yards and killed their little dogs. I've not heard that this year, yet.
