This is lovely, Pili, a calmness comes from your words. When we recognise how small we are in this vast universe, it does make us think about our limitations. Your first stanza tells us this so eloquently. You continue in the same reflective manner, voices reaching us from the past, and those shadows flitting around in our minds reviving many more memories. The final stanza finishes your lovely poem off superbly. A pleasure to read, Pili. xsx Sandra

Loved your poem on reflection, Pili. It believe your one who like to sit and wonder about a great many things in your life, and the world in general.

Your carefully chosen words are eloquent and ring as genuine. The imagery you've created here within this short, effective poem are emotional and tender.

In all, Pili, simply a wonderfully composed free verse poem.

A very nicely written free verse poetry format with a very good imaginations. The poem is very nicely presented that even my mind flew away while reading it and hearing ancient songs. Truly a good poem.

I just read your personal remarks Pili, you have had a checkered life indeed, and I see where your poetry comes from! I didn't really write anything until my early fifties, then only songwriting, and it's only after I had a personal encounter with God, that anything passionate really hit me! Loved your reflections poem, it strikes me that you are a great ponderer, in this eloquent work, when you use "ancient" you know that all journeys, though individual, have been made before, yet still unique! Well done, blessings, Roy.

I guess, when one reflects one does fantasise about the beauties of the Universe and Nature. Good use of imagery and well chosen words to convey your message. Great picture, Faye
