I enjoyed the image of an island in vast universe, and the ancient songs that can be heard from far away. This is beautifully crafted and thoughtful.

The imagery here is arresting :-)
But I think the message is slightly contradictory. . .the melancholy mood in the opening two stanzas seems to be negated by the third stanza, which comes across as peaceful serenity. But then the poem returns (in stanza 4) to a more heavyhearted tone.

I love this poem, but you deserve a six star rating just for this stunning and very beautiful art work. Blue is my favorite color and this image just nails it for me. I loved the gold color font you used for this writing. And the words of the poem was well chosen.

There are time my soul feels like it is an island all to itself, at other time it feels as though it is in the busy streets of a large city. There are times when my mind takes me to the songs of years ago that I heard as a wee child in school. Blessings, Pat
