I really enjoyed this song, I loved the rhyme very much, it was so easy to read and follow, your wording is exceptional all the way through, it felt very spiritual, which I know is your intention, well done

This is a beautiful song, Roy, and reminds me of a poem I used to recite as a child about the wind. I enjoyed it, particularly your rhyming lines which I like very much, (good rhyming poetry is a treat around here.) Giddy

Roy, this is gorgeous. I love the Pentecost imagery for Spirit, and I think this captures it so subtly, so powerfully in a unique work. The seeking questions, among the beautiful imagery of 'wind' related situations (eg Oh breath of wind where do you go,
When flags on poles hang limp and low,
When clothes on lines fall lank and wet,) work very effectively in expressing the anguish and hope of the seeker in times of need.
I find this work more spiritual and more real in terms of God and life, because it lacks the didactic stress of many religious works. By this, I mean, you let the ryhthm, imagery, and questions speak of God and Spirit, not weighing down the poetry with the need to preach. Same message; but delivered with beauty.

Thank you Mark, you and another were the ones to pick up the metaphorical apparent absence of God in that verse, you're definitely perceptive, I think the poem defines our relationship to God, secular reviews were interesting, all liked it, you can present God in a non threatening way, outstanding review, my friend, blessings, Roy

To royowen,
A stunning example of how the Holy Spirit will enter our all-consuming, grief-stricken lives and bring us to our knees to bring Him the praise and glory daily.

Pretty poem with a pretty picture. Good word flow and rhyming make this easy to read and understand. This is a neat song, relating the wind to the holy spirit.

I love the underlying reference to the Holy Spirit.
The words appealed to me - particularly this stanza:
Oh breath of wind where do you go,
When flags on poles hang limp and low,
When clothes on lines fall lank and wet,
They seem so sad, without you, fret
A lovely song, Roy. Reads like a lovely old fashioned Victorian lyric.
I think you might need a comma or an exclamation mark after each 'Oh'.

Very lovely song. Maybe we will hear it on the radio some day. It's that good my friend. Now you need to find a music publisher for it. That way all Christians can hear it's message!
