Your poem reminds me of Shelly's -
"Oh wild west wind,
thou breath of August's being."

Yours is:
"Oh breath of wind against my face,
Surround me with your warm embrace,"

All together it is very lovely prose.

Roy, I'd like to hear it. Yes, where would we all be
without grace. I like the thought of the embrace of
God and His Holy Spirit. Good job on the rhyming.
Good flow to it.

Thank you for these wonderful words and comments. Are you Liverpudlian? With a non de plume, I live in Australia, but was born there, blessings, Roy.

Roy, I had to plead ignorance, but I don't know what a Liverpudlian is? I like in the States; Oklahoma to be exact. Judy

This is a lovely poem, with an excellent choice of words. Nicely written, with good rhyming, flow and meter. Very sweet.
Nicely done job Roy!

I really didn't connect with the spiritual in this verse, but you can read into a poem many different variables. This was a well written poetic voice. For this poem is about connect with nature, at least that I what I discerned it to be. In any event, I found this verse to be well written and very entertaining... John

I am grateful for the author's notes, as I am a literal reader and enjoy the wind for being the wind, but.... now I LOVE it even more. Your words are well written, your rhymes and lines flow smoothly, and the chosen artwork is terrific. Excellent.

Excellent observation. Then you should or must know that the Holy spirit is God's active force, the force or power that He uses to get things done. It is also interesting to note that this power can be creative or destructive. It is dependent upon the will of the one using or directing it, our heavenly father.

This work has reached the exceptional level

I sensed the connection to the grace of God or the Holy Spirit right away. This is a catchy configuration of phrases that make great song lyrics. I will look forward to the second half.

I love the imagery, choice of words, structure, and tone. I love the Holy Spirit. I relate to "please show me grace," "Please be my friend," "surround me with your warm embrace," Amen Thanks for sharing.

God lives every where. In the wind, rain, sky, and even in the grass. Lives inside of some of us as well. Waking us up everyday to see new grace.

I wish I had a ten. ..and wish it could be given to the first part of your song. It flows like the story it tells...and the story is that of "the rush of a mighty wind ". I really love this and the truth of it.
