I love the message - heart flowers joined in shared nurturing and communion :-)

And the picture is arresting! Quite an artist! (LOL. . .the middle one looks like Pippin!)

Very nice haiku :-)

This is a lovely haiku, rami devi! Your 5-7-5 count is right on. I very much like the your message of alignment on the same stem meaning that that unity can exist.

The accompanying artwork is a nice enehancement. Very well done. Good luck in the contest.

Hi, rd.

Very lovely haiku! You deliver a strong message here. It sounds both philosophical and spiritual.

heart-flowers align
along stem fed from one root
unity blossoms

I had never heard of this flower, so it was a bit difficult for me to picture it without the photo, but it looks gorgeous. The first two grammatically connected lines have concrete imagery.

I understand why you have that 'single root' here. It stands/shows the existence of one superpower which drives all lifeforms. Also, heart-flower is a superb choice which symbolizes our hearts as well.

Nice use of A,F alliteration and consonance of L. The satori line is open and can be interpreted in more than one way. If everyone of us head toward the same path of enlightenment, unity will bloom on its own.

Love the photo as well. Without using personification, you have conveyed a potent message. It also has your usual spiritual voice. :)

Good luck!

Regards,
Anupam

This reminds me of a song we sang in church today. Your words take on a spiritual meaning for me. You selected the perfect piece of art to work in harmony with your words.

I like the way you use of the single-stem flower to make a philosophical/spiritual point about the importance and strength of unity
good alliterative grouping of flowers/fed from
and I love the word play with blossoms :-) Brooke

Interesting enough, some gardeners refer to these flowers as bleeding hearts, and they remain a favorite. They line up in a precise order, open one by one, and we enjoy the beauty they show.

What a lovely thought, and such thoughts are typical of you. All one--unity--what all are, in truth. And what
a way to say it. One of my favorite springtime flowers. Beautiful presentation. You have found the tan in the black background. Very nice.

Oh, I love those, Rama! Do you know, their botanical name is lumprocampnos blooms. I used their picture for Alvin's memorial poem for our tribute to him.

Very well done. I love your two lines of concrete imagery and a stunning satori in line 3. A great visual feeling to this haiku - there is such beauty in those flowers, and it rubs off on the reader.

Thank you for the delight. Love, Y.
