I have lots of these in my garden - they come up all over the place! Love the metaphor - the meaning veiled behind the simple logic of nature. How come we don't seem to get that? It's weird.
Beautiful haiku, rd, and a beautiful message.

Dear Ms. Ramadevi,
Mind blowing and very artistic haiku. You have spread good message around the world that we are all generations only human and we have got birth from same root of humanity. We must recognize our own family and possibility of every unification with each other.
Thank you.

Dear rd,
I confess that I am completely incapable of appreciating, let alone commenting on, the haiku form. I am sure you are good at such composition since I am certain you would not waste your talents on anything meaningless. For this reason I just have to give you 5 stars and hope that someday an epiphany will show me the light.
Regards
Reg

This must be a Bleeding Heart. How lovely! I do photography too and this is a nice close-up. I don't know a lot about Haiku's but this does seem to be good. Best wishes in the contest.

Sat nam RD! This is a lovely haiku--as far as I know anything about short forms. I love the image of heart-shaped flowers being a metaphor for every anahata center aligning with openness and love to produce unity among individuals. I assume the seasonal reference is in the word blooms? I don't know much about haiku but I plan to pick up a book that was recommended by a friend. Lovely poem. Namaste.

A gorgeous display and a delightful little read. I didn't know such flowers exist! Simply lovely. It reads of how love is unity, stemming from one root providing life to more than one. Romantic connection.
