Another gorgeous poem and picture. I'm envious of those who can write poetry the way you do. The rhyme is perfect and I'm in awe and wish it was a talent of mine.
Look forward to reading more, maybe I'll catch on and create a miracle. Ha-ha!

I don't know if my star is for your poem or the little man. LOL.
To be honest I thought they both were grand.
And like always you had my attention from the start.
But the little ma stole my heart.

Oh, yeah. This one is very cute. You nailed it, Brooke. I'm not sure what a roly poly bug is, but I have seen similar sounding critters in Africa.

Do roly poly bugs roll up?
I know I'm gonna answer yup.
They roll each time we play our game,
clear proof that they have earned their name.
Dear Brooke, that is why you get the most readers to your every kind of poem,. A master piece as usual, even I, old, enjoyed reading this poem beautiful rhyming, and best is, Sawyer is the Hero. Beautiful, so well done. Bravo. Hugs to both of you. Terry xoxo

A gentle and fun piece of nonsense in lovely flowing rhyme and meter.
Not sure I know the roly-poly bug, but what a delightful name!

I think the number one reason God made rolly polly bugs is that children love to play with them and are never afraid of them.
Every cuplet rhymed in this poem, I would have been surprised if they did not: )
Thanks,
Anita

Good use of the aabb rhyme scheme. Good end rhyming. Good perfect rhyming with name/fame...no/go...game/name. Good internal rhyming with roly/poly. Good alliteration with by/boy...goofy/go. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message.
