If I sat in a tree and I see a vision like that, I would probably tumbled to the ground. This is very well written with great descriptions and excellent dialogue. Another well crafted chapter.

This is fantastic writing, Bev. Even though I'm not up with the story I was still engaged and couldn't stop reading. Lots of action and unusual terms which add to the interest, Giddy

Hmm. Angelic bloodhound. This is the first time I have ever heard of such. Is it for real?

You did a good job in writing this. Thanks for sharing it. JW

Ah, Bev, what am I going to do with you? I have almost used all my sixes already, but this simply has to have one...the capper was Wasu. The whole thing is fabulous, but the scene with the ghost of the dog was a stroke of brilliance, in my opinion.

One thing - "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus." << I don't know how accurate you want to be with this prayer - it might even have been modernized, but I wanted to give you the option, in case you didn't know it. :)

Thanks, Dawn. I appreciate your thorough and very helpful review. More recently, I've taken to using the blest instead of blessed, and so in a way I'm projecting that unto Father Brian. But I'm very impressed you noticed! Thanks for the grand review, my friend.

    Love, Bev

Good description of events that give me a clear visual of what's going on. Good, clear dialogue between the characters. Smooth transition between events. Nice, steady pace leading to a conclusion that has me looking forward to reading the next chapter. Good work.

I love it. Wasu's angelic body returns to rescue Brian. I wonder if he will meet up with the devil dog. That would be quite a confrontation. 8-)

This really deserves six stars. You really keep the tension and excitement going. Jake is being very brave in this, especially during his sighting of the Devil Dog. It certainly sounds frightening. When Jake sees the man carrying a body, he thinks that the destination is the Cayuna mine. Father Brian also thinks of the mine. He is such an interesting character because he has to deal with his own demons, and a lot depends on him now. The dog that saves him is spooky. Father Brian thinks at first it is Tony's dog, but it has been killed. Does Father Brian have an angel dog on his side? judi
