Yes, definitely. I think, as my hubby would say, "you nailed it" here: "displays no hesitation." Just like a wave without destination, you don't have to know where you're going or how you'll get there, because you trust in God to bring you where you need to be. All you need to do is match His love everywhere you end up. :)

Ah, my friend, you have woven words so sweet, and so wonderfully descriptive of that state of being; faith is just that, isn't it? And our hearts just keep on giving, despite the setbacks, when we have faith...

"Is Faith the Wave" is an excellent quatrain structured poem with a good rhyme scheme consistently follow. Excellent figurative language and imagery (no way to plot a course) and flow. Good luck in the contest.

Excellent as all your poems are. I read them all and enjoy them, but don't always review because others usually say what I mean much better than I. We all, religious or not, live by faith every day. Faith the sun will rise, that's a given. Then when we go out the door every time we cross the street or drive our car we place our lives in the faith that other drivers will obey the rules and not run us down. The most atheistic person has faith on some level, whether they know it or not.

I agree, my friend - just driving requires so so so much faith - faith the other guy will stop at the red light and not ram into you... People who don't have that faith are the kind who lock themselves up in their apartments for years. Thanks so much for your thoughtful response to this poem :-) Brooke
