Nice job, adewpearl. I like the question "What is faith?"
refrain, alliteration, metaphors and the final answer .
Faith is breath of life, the greatest gift of humanity.

Great image.
I like this genre.
This gives pause to lots of thinking and soul searching.
It is a very important reflective work.
Reads well and make sesne.
A work that promotes critical thinking is incredible.

How beautifully written and ponderous in the quest to define faith - faith that embodies confidence, truth, trustworthiness. An acceptance of an idea, person or thing without necessarily having materialistic proof - a deep awareness of an intrinsic nature.

Excellent measure of faith. God , who is our pilot for all things is moved and pleased by faith. Faith is a form of obedience toward Him. Brooke, you did well as usual. Will meet you in the booth.

Haven't got my six packs back. Refreshing and thought provoking. Faith in what we love and believe in is everything. I sometimes run out of breath, but only for a moment. Warmest - DJ

This a beautiful poem. What is faith but the unknown. Like Columbus sailing for a distant shore when others said the world was flat or when Peter stepped out of the boat to walk on water towards Jesus. You have beautifully captured the concept of faith.

Brooke;
Your considerate observation on faith is an obiter dictum and consideration that is very profound.
Also your imagination is simply marvelous as your imagery is dexterously descriptive and exquisitely it expressive throughout your poem.
Your rhyming quatrains are done very well where neither of your rhymes are neither forced nor labored and your rhythm and flow smoothly out your poem.
Good luck and a quatrain poetry contest for this is an excellent entry for winning.
Thank you for posting and sharing this for everyone to read and may all your endeavors the good ones.

Faith and trust work hand in hand, one doesn't work without the other! Faith doesn't travel it just is, it switches on lights, turns on taps, gets up in the morning, it sees the supernatural, it is that natural, and yet it doesn't have eyes of flesh! Nice poem, Brooke, nice abcb rhyming, even meter! Good luck, blessings, Roy.

I guess you're saying that faith is when we say 'yes!" to life, by 'going with the flow'. As always your rhyming is perfect and your rhythm outstanding. Good luck in the contest, Brooke.

Maybe 'to gain Your Holy pleasure.' in last line.
Just me feeling like irritating you, Brooke. LOL
On the other hand, maybe you're addressing ME rather than His Lordship. ;-)
Lovely short smooth read.
Cheers, Ray
