Is Faith the Wave?

I would tend to believe that faith, the pure, unadulterated act of being faithful, are both of these and many, many more. It is the act of believing in something that is unseen, putting hope in something (or someone) with complete confidence of a positive outcome, and total trust in something that we know beyond a shadow of a doubt is real, even if we do not see it. It is by faith we understand that the whole world was made by God's command so what we see was made by something that cannot be seen. It was by faith that the people crossed the Red Sea as if it were dry land. But when the Egyptians tried it, they were drowned.
So, yes, faith is both of those things you mentioned, and much, much more.

Good use of the abcb rhyme scheme. Good end rhyming with destination/hesitation...measure/treasure. Good alliteration with distant/destination. I see nothing that could be done to make this piece better. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a very strong contest entry. I enjoyed reading and I think before we start on any destination we need faith. Of course anytime you share part of yourself, you're doing it in faith that the other person, and it doesn't even have to be a person, writing a poem, you give of yourself. I am in the weeds now.
