I absolutely love your homely well structured poems Brooke, the photo is gorgeous, the poem is beautifully presented with a flow as graceful as the young lady who sashayed across the room to plant that magical kiss.

Hurray for Horatio. I was beginning to think you had deserted for the day. As always you have given your readers with what I think is an adorable children's poem. It is also a very poignant poem on an adult level. I love making plans, but they are always subject to change, as is my life. There
are too many factors that can change my immediate plans. The things that need to get done, always get done, but that doesn't mean I'm not flexible for change.

This is a beautiful picture that your nanny has caught here. The poem adds to this beautifully and creates a story that both Chloe and Sawyer will cherish when they get older. Well done again.

Oh my, the Cute Little One looks terrified by the kiss. At that age, he probably didn't expect it :) This is very well written. Thanks for sharing.

I love the art work here very much for these words.
I guess one is never to young to receive
a special kiss on ones cheek, that's life.

This has to be the cutest photo yet, Brooke.
Horatio and his well laid ,in slippers, plans came to naught.

Oh my!~ Does Sawyer now have a girlfriend? How fun to watch this young man growing up in your poetry and in Miranda's beautiful pictures. Can't wait to see what's going on when he is 16! Sue

Oh, this has been going on since last fall! LOL When he was first learning to talk he would make pretend phone calls to her. "Hello, Chloe. How are you?" LOL She's been planting kisses on him for a long time, and sometimes he even smooches her cheek. They used to just be neighborhood play dates, but now they share a nanny so get to see each other every afternoon :-) Thanks so much, Sue. Brooke

What a pleasant thought to retire with tonight. Sawyer, my friend, they did it again. Grandmother has staged the event. Great poem Brooke and the photo , well no words can describe the perfection. Blessings to all.
