Dear Brooke - this is a lovely faith poem. Great flowing lines and strong rhymes i enjoyed the feel of this one. As if in reflection of the sacred beauty and truth that surrounds us when we ponder out journey with faith.
Loved it and good luck.
Thanks for sharing.

"I remember all Creation,
from the firmament to sea,
and then I stop to thank the Lord
for all He's given me".
This is great faith based poem. I especially love the ending. Great job and good luck in the contest

The world is so full of wonder, but we can easily forget what we must be grateful to God for. Well chosen words and rhymes to convey your lovely spiritual message. Good luck in the contest. Faye

Hi Brooke,
A powerful entry for the Faith Contest.
I had a glimpse of early life when I worked, for a US company, in the African country now known as Namibia. Primitive desert plants had no roots. They sucked moisture out of morning sea mists. The world must have been strange long ago.
Good luck in the contest!

That is lovely, Brooke, and it would make a lovely hymn as well. You have captured the essence of the birth of our planet, and you've done it well. Good luck in the contest. xsx Sandra

Another on for the Greeting Card section.
I only have one comment, and that is coming from what I am doing now with old poems. I have been trying to cut down on the use of And. Using that spot to take a mental breath, to make the reading more dramatic.

I enjoyed everything about this poem. It has a wonderful and uplifting message and the contrast of color with your picture are a fantastic combo. I wish you well in the contest. This would be a great bookmark for a family bible.
