There was a remarkable greatness in this poem as you slowly but surely and melodiously lead the reader to the ultimate conclusion of eternal truth - God blessed us with His Creation. Well done, Brroke. This is a worthy contender for the Faith contest. Good luck.

The world and all its life, both in the sea and on the land was such a fantastic gift.
These quatrains are an excellent submission to the Faith Poetry contest.
We are reminded that earth was once nothing, and through the grace of God, all that we know, was created.
You take a brief turn in V4, so share something that is on many people's minds these days. But, then you brighten again in V5 you return to your ever-faithful, optimistic self, to close the poem on a note of hope and grace of your own. And THAT is what faith is all about.
Excellent write, Brooke.
Rose.

Our Creator has blessed us with so much. The miracles of His creation are all around us.

Nice flowing thought you have written into this piece of poetic art I liked the start better then the finish, but the entire poem is well written and worthy of a five star award... John

This is a lovely entry Brooke for the Faith contest. Perfect in abcb rhyme and the content of the poem is good. We get a lot of religious poetry on FS but not many give us words about His creation of the universe. This is a refreshing poem. Good Luck in the contest. Regards Dorothy

Though sixless now, I have faith that come the sabbath ...
This is the stuff you do so well, Brooke. You take 'another way around'. I should stop being surprised.
Where most people are blunt. You swirl your skirts
around the edges and dazzle me with one simple truth.
Yeah, you swirl your skirts.
Peace, Lee

Every once in a while a poetic image flattens me like a brick.
Comment from RodG
This poem is very stirring as it reminds us of what Creation is/was all about and how much we should thank the Lord for his blessings.
I really like how you tell your version of Genesis 1 in stanzas 1-3.
Your imagery is excellent.
