Salvation by singing "Paper Roses" and the return of the thinking cat, that vice grip that the Bard put on Winston- I'm beginning to see the tales of the Bard as Picaresque. Humor is definitely your forte.

That was a good chapter, the action on the roof was well described and it had a good resolution. Good dialogue and characters. Most enjoyable as always. Faye

I'm pleased you enjoyed it. I've been slowing down the pace I write this and letting it run through my little brain a bit longer. Hahaha. Hope it shows!! Thank you, mikey

Dialogue conveys the intense emotions of the characters well - powerful situation where the child explains why she would return to these captors
He motioned to Marie Osmond, who pretended - add the comma
Wayne and Marie doing a duet of Paper Roses - old folks like me are all going to be laughing their heads off over this
Where are you, Barry - add the comma
Brooke :-)

Sometimes one just needs a little hope, and Angela gave that to the rest of the captives. Winston is not having a good day, and I had a good chuckle at your descriptions. Very well done. Good for the Bard.

Another helter-skelter race of a chapter that left me quite breathless, Mikey. :)

I sang Paper Roses along with Wayne. Thanks for the memories ... Sonny, Tito, etc. (I got you babe!)

Have a wonderful rest of the week.

hungry newborn baby would follow Dolly Parton... if newborns could follow, of course. (Love the line - speaks volumes!!)

This work has reached the exceptional level

You continue to infuse humor into the story at just the right level. Any more would make it farcical. You maintain that sharp edge where the Bard can jump into action and it is still in tune with his character. Killer!!!NG

They got Winston and saved the hostages. The Bard convinced Winston to tell him where the girl is. She has escaped. has escaped. But the cat is still trapped. The crew is rushing to the girl's aid. They need to catch Elsa. Great work.

Those were the days! Johnny Crawford too. He's still around. Of course, Wayne is too, going strong. mikey
