This was amazing, I can't believe you did this, and so well, I wouldn't know where to start with this challenge, a worthy winner. Well done, brilliant!

Congratulations on your contest win, Steve
You started out with a good decision to make this a humorous poem since all that alliteration will make anything sound silly anyway
excellent use of abcb rhyme with some very clever rhyming pairs
Brooke :-)

Thanks, Brooke.
I would have agreed with you about the best way to go being humour, but I have to say I was really impressed with the runner-up poem by Justjo - she did a wonderful job of describing the sequence of the seasons in free verse.
Just the chuckle factor got me home on this one.

Hi,
This is really good, cleverly constructed. Something you didn't whip up in a couple of minutes.
The best of luck in the contest.
Cheers & Blessings,

Took all of half an hour once I'd thrown out the first version and started all over again!

This challenge is intense. I doubt I could pull this off. So hats off to you for attempting it.
And with that said, this poem is amazing.
Great choice of a letter for this alliteration, and great word choices.

My tongue got all tangled up as I read ... and I wasn't even reading aloud!
My goodness, Steve, this is a massive feat of alliteration.
Won't be surprised if this wins.
Hope you are having a wonderful week.

Yes, we have a winner, but only just - the runner up was a super piece of poetry too.

I'm impressed. Every single word starts with the same letter. I especially liked the "lecherous leprechauns leap-frogging lavishly" Great job on a difficult assignment.

Wow; quite a feat finding this many "L" words that actually make sense when strung together. This is a crazy-fun tongue twister and you have my vote. But then, I'm partial to leprechauns! :D

I love the picture. I love the poem. It is a funny little ditty. The leprechauns had a hard but good time with love. Lenny had a good way with words. Good luck in the contest.

This looked very difficult to write;
A well-penned leprechauns vocabulary;
The fun rambling of these mystical little men makes for an enjoyable contest read;
Excellent!
