Hi jackie, I am sorry to have to tell you but this is not a 5-7-5, it is actually a 7-11-6, you have misread the criteria I'm afraid, when it states 5-7-5 it means syllables, for example Fingers is two syllables as in fin-gers, you still have time to put it right I think Good luck.

This is a fun poem that may well be based on one's own dog, sprawled out on the porch like a bear. I had one like that once. Never tried to wake him.
