What a beautiful, cute poem bout the Book drop. And they say libraries are getting extinct because of the Internet.
I still like the tangible book, and I'm sure Sawyer does too , from the look of things.
The greatest fun I had with my two granddaughters when they were little, was to sit on the stairs with each one and read them stories. They loved the wonderful places that we would explore, in their books, and would memorize the spoken words until they knew them by heart.
I love that the Book drop became human...it munches on mountains... eats up the places; all such funny pictures that make an enjoyable read.

Awww, so this is Sawyer's first library book. I'm sure he'll get his mom to read many more, and soon he'll be able to read some himself. They grow just way too fast, but I think it's great that he likes to listen to stories being read to him, and takes in as much as he can. So very educational and what a wonderful mom to take the time. I confess that I took in every word, so one doesn't have to be a child to appreciate what you write. I only know that I do!
