What a lovely love poem. Maybe the two weren't very romantic, but the love was there. Nice rhythm and the flow was great. I love the line her winsome ways are so beguiled. Great job.

Hey Brooke, I cannot help but wonder if 15 years down the road, they might actually be holding hands on the same path as they go on a date. Assuming dates are not considered -- artsy fartsy grownup rituals!

This poem makes me smile thinking of a beautiful little girl with the sweet smile only children can have. It is easy to picture walking somewhere holding the hand of this small child with her swinging the clasped hands back and forth the way children do.

Thanks so much, Gail - the poor kid never stood a chance with this girl - she is the one who initiated all the touchy feely stuff with a kiss on the cheek here, a hug there, a touch, constant comments about how cute he is. He finally decided he might as well kiss back. LOL :-) Brooke
