This poem tells of a relationship that started poorly but, luckily, changed to a healthy one. The girl was lucky.
You used slant rhyme well in this ode to your father.
I found some needed edits. It should be 'hatred changed into love' not in the love. Sole should be soul. All the lowercase "i" should be capitalized.
