Thank you for imparting this knowledge Brooke. I never knew what a group of butterflies were called. Now I know. I wonder if children still learn what groups of things are called. We did in school. Anyway, lovely poem and lovely picture. Heaven is already here on earth, sometime and in some places. Your poem evokes those feelings.

I did not know that just like a group of owls is called a parliament, butterflies are referred to as a kaleidoscope--how perfect! I relished the repeating phrase in these rhymed quatrains. Hugs and happy weekend filled with kaleidoscopes- Joan

This is absolutely lovely. I am still having a hard time dealing with the death of Pam (gungalo) and it seems that every poem I read reminds me of her.
