I love the story. Junior is learning that he can not plead ignorance. I hope he does care for Angela. The Bard is still a good ally. I have a feeling that Diamond and Ruby will be a good help too. Great work.

Yeah. I'm trying to get Diamond and Ruby into the act. They're in Vegas! Junior does care about Angela, so that is something. Glad you're enjoying. I'm trying to catch up on responding. I do read all of these and appreciate them. Thank you so much. mikey

My goodness, Mikey! What a rollercoaster ride your tale is!
I'm quite dizzy with all the unfolding events. Poor Angela. Hope she finds a way out of her mess.
Hope you're having a great week!

Good banter and humour between the Bard, detectives and company. I have no suggestions, I have been out bird watching, kingfishers to be precise, and next week I am off to Wales, got myself a camera and will be climbing the Brecon Hills, then into the Snowdonia mountain range. I may not post much whilst away, no time. Your intricate plot will soon be unravelling and coming to its climax, I am guessing. Good write as always. Faye

I like that Harpster confronted Junior. Great line here:
I'm trying to learn. You don't even know there is something to learn.
And also: Your whole life is a damn lie. Etc.
There was a lot of unnecessary fluff with the zig zag man, but when you got to Junior and his dad, you finally moved the story forward with something that needed to be said.

One bunk stands. The Bard sure pulls no punches but it is quite hilarious. Of course junior doesn't think so. This is another great chapter and I spotted no obvious errors.

Good to see a new chapter. This is a great chapter with a lot of exchange among the characters. Great reveals of underlying tensions. The Bard in rare form. Wonderful and daring poem. Wow!!! Angela sounding more like the victim as she should. I hope some of that intelligence and spirit still shines through. Excellent work. NG

This is a needed place to be. Giving us a chance to align with Angela while the others'regroup the troops'. This turns out to be quite timely. Yesterday, FBI released a report that in a massive sweep, they rescued 168 children (In US) from sex slavery groups.

Family tradition. It's nothin' like a family dispute. Meanwhile, the poor girl is cooped up back of a school yard, some building. What is the next move? It's one big--happy family. I got in a few chuckles from your Bard poem. Are you sure--it's safe for him to be running around? (HUMOR) I like some of your slang. Genocide, mechanical nigga',biz'ness. Did the Bard really go to jail? So, he was the Zig-Zag man. One with the brains. I tell you one thing ... some people may have all their SPAG in check but I rather read something exciting!! I overlook wee erroes, jump them to be entertained. You are a story teller. Fantastic job! Mikey. wackydo, do loco.

The zig-zag man- cue the 70's twanga wanga guitar, Mr. Blacksploitation jail flick. Jail is honest racism, all Rollin' with their crew. The trick is to still see it on the outside. Hope you don't get any grief for the poem. I see what you were doin'. Just please, no raps by Ghandi G.

Damn! I had a good one too... Nobody sees this but my few regulars. I had to put it somewhere, someday. When I was in jail I had to hang out with Nazis. They wanted me to be their leader. I didn't mention my opinion of them. I was surprised I was able to keep my big mouth shut. Hahaha. mikey

Well, back in my drunk devil-May-care days I ran across a bunch of these Aryan yahoos. One of them tried to hit on my friend's girlfriend by showing her the swastika tattooed on his chest. When she told me what happened, of course I had to go over there and open my mouth (I was convinced my mouth was invincible) and found myself surrounded by five skinheads. Their leader held them back, told his story, about his prison yard experiences, the races sticking together. I told him I understood where he was coming from due to his experiences, but did not agree with him at all. He continued to talk, my friends were scared shirtless as I continued to argue with him. The conversation ended, I got up to go, turned to the guy and told him that I have a girlfriend who is black. Miraculously, we walked out without incident. And the mouth lived on.
