Brooke: perfect quatrains and rhyme delightful. Yes, the adults are suppose to know because the little ones want to know everything. . .and we cannot disappoint. Enjoyable read once again. Linda

Sawyer, is so cute and clever! Yes, this age has all the "why" questions. I still don't know where rainbows go. I like your bubbles burst and breezes blow and that somebody thinks I ought to know repeated in different lines. Excellent!

This is yet another interesting and thought-provoking poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. Life is a learning curve for us all and we have to work it out as we go.

Your poems are so magical and whimsical! I enjoy them so much. I just love poems where you don't have to dig to China to find the meaning. You seem to catch the magic of a child's imagination so very well.

Sawyer is so adoreable!
I would spoil him rotten.
You write of a deeper turth about childhood.
It is so short and this little boy seems to enjoy every moment.
That is sensational as is this write.

Well done here brooke ! You have given us another good one ! I love the theme of it - the whole " No one knows why ... " but we just get on anyway !

Well of course you should know, lol. I love how you expressed something that all parents deal with from their young children. They are so full of wonder and curiosity and lets not forget the never ending questions. They look to their parents as the ultimate authority on all things and truly believe their parents have all the answers and can fix all boo boo's.

Loved the writing style too, you did an awesome job.

Hi Brooke,
A charming poem full of fun and wonder.
A little friend of my daughter once asked her Why was the sky blue?
She thought for a time, then replied: Because that's the color God had left in his paintbox.
You can't argue with logic like that!

Another lovely and observant piece. Kids. Definitely, "why" and "how come," as well as always so full of desire to know and to learn. And of course they believe Mom, Dad, Nana, Papa should have all of the answers. Wish we did. A pleasant and enjoyable poem.
