To adewpearl,
What inquiring minds would like to know. And why not!
That is one way to mold and shape their character when the answer to those very intriguing questions become known.

Delightful, innocent, whimsical, and full of the simple joys of childhood. For some reason this poem reminds of a conversation I once had with a very bright four year old about this and that and how he often provided the answer the to the question he asked, like why the sky is blue. Sometimes he was spot on and sometimes his answer had its own unexplainable logical. A pleasure to read as always....

Good poem with a good picture. Good word flow and rhyming as you tell of how someone thinks the little guy should have all the answers.

Brooke,
LOL Well, you know, you can't put it back together again without first taking it apart. LOL Another good one and it sounds like someone likes to ask a lot of questions. Tira was like that. LOL STILL is. Imagery is excellent. I hope you're having a great day.
Love,
Barbara

Thank you ... yeah, life has been keeping me busy. Shirley B and I are having a book signing in July. I can't wait.
I miss everyone when I'm not here but sometimes you have too much to do and to little time.
Love,
Barbara

A delightful poem. Who really knows the answers to any of life's real questions. We want to believe we do or someone does, but it's all just guesswork. Well done.

Hi Brooke,
This is such a cute poem- and so true! I remember thinking that my parents knew the answers to all my questions when I was a child. The "why"s and the "whats" and "hows" were never-ending. :) I'm sure I tested their patience on many occasions.
Have a great day and thanks for sharing!
Regards,
Namratha

After all is said and done, writing
poetry, no matter the form, is the
artistry of the poet who becomes
a story teller and has the ability
and the talent to keep the reader
immersed in the tale you tell in
musical cadence
Well done

Yep, got to love that "why?" stage. Such wonderful curiosity they have but it can wear a grandma out. :) Beautifully written as always and a very enjoyable read.

That sounds like a parent's response to a child's question--Somebody thinks I ought to know. Children have so many questions and adults can't begin to answer all of them. You show one's curiosity to learn about all kinds of things like why bubbles burst and fairies glow. Excellent alliteration, and the list of questions you have is fascinating. The rhyme and flow work beautifully. This is full of charm. judi
