I am not surprised to see another great piece of work by this author. This one reads so well, as his her style. I wish she would break away from what she typically writes, and give us something new.

Sawyer is like me. I'm constantly learning about life even at this late age. So why is the sky blue and rivers bend. I simply don't know. Thanks, Brooke, for this very thoughtful piece.

This is a very cute poem. Kids are always so eager and full of questions, wanting to know "why" for everything. Very well done and entertaining too.

This is excellent. Perfect flow and rhythm The presentation is done in a delightful manner and the things "nobody" knows (Grandma, perhaps?) are flawless examples. Great job!

I love this poem! It is very whimsical and very much shows a child's perspective. Your poetry reminds me a lot of A.A. Milne's work. I enjoyed it, as usual. Good work!

How fast young Sawyer is growing. Wonder what Miranda is feeding him!
Another lovely one, told in the charming, most appealing child's voice.
Love it, Brooke!
Love,
Sonali

Thanks so much, Sonali. I'm laughing at the feeding question because the child is the world's pickiest eater. She has tried everything to get him to eat a bigger variety of nutritious foods, including consulting a nutritionist through her health plan! We keep hoping he will outgrow it because all the experts agree that you can't force it down his throat. :-) Brooke

He is obviously healthy, so it's best not to worry, I suppose. That IS funny!

That's what the nutritionist said. :-)

Sounds like Sawyer's been asking questions
(the kind that tend to try your soul)
"I don't know" never suffices - and "because. . ."
just brings up another question! (After all,
you are a grown-up - you should know!)
I hear kids are adorable - but admit it
sometimes they are insatiable! :-)
Nice poem :-)

He will master all these things before you can blink....you will wonder how the time so quickly flew! What a delightful poem, and the pic is too adorable. Quite pleased he is with himself!
