The writer's muse in all her art, breathes through her child. It shows and it is incredible. It is definitely the author's day to shine with a beautiful blessing. Great job from the author. Marvelous flow of rhyme.
Very in charge, "I won't bemoan my fate,
nor life shall I revile,
for I will always have the joy
I've found within your smile."

That smile of the Cute Little One can bring sunshine and happiness on the darkest of days. This is very well written. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Brooke and Sawyer, OH my God, I am in love with this boy. God bless him. But your poem is amazing my friend, wow, you have brains that work full time when you write, I wish I knew you before, but still I am happy to have found you here to enjoy the love you put to your poems. Hug to Sawyer, love his reaction. Terry xoxo

Precious. Another goodie Brooke. He looks as if seeing angels. How about those shots? Caught him just the way the poem reads. Blessings to you.

Love truly can conquer all the terrible disasters of life. You have a knack for brightening even the most awful consequences by focusing in on what matters most.
Solid rhymes, excellent use of enjambment to make your verse flow smoothly from one line to the next.
Excellent alliteration in droughts deplete and clocks count.
Sawyer is growing.

That little face is such an open book of expressions. What a sweet poem of rhyming quatrains you have here, Brooke. Most enjoyable to read, I loved it, Giddy

Good use of the abcb rhyme scheme. Good end rhyming with sea/me...bloom/resume...revile/smile. Good alliteration with droughts/deplete...sands/sea...should/sun...should/stars...clocks/count. Good rhythm and flow. Good complimentary photo followed by a clear message.

Brooke, the quatrains offer outstanding reading both in craftsmanship, and content, however, they're richly overshadowed by these photos of your Grandson. Precious, Kenny
