Hi. A love song this is. It is the words of a heart full of love. I figure it is about Sawyer, lucky wee boy that he is.
Ah, next is the Do a deer song....

Hi Brooke:}
I almost embarrassed myself by believing you had only five syllables in the line 'and roses fail to bloom,' I should have realized that 'roses' has two syllables. Si once again your perfection in formatting wins again.

This is a great poem based on the premise of human-caused global warming, I certainly agree that we can always go without regret, If we cab just remember a loved one's smile or the many beautiful nature-filled days our earth and God have afforded us.

Love and Irish Hugs for sharing Sawyer's smiling face.

Roger

Hi Brooke :)
Some really scary scenarios you lay down there... especially in stanza 1. The short and sharp rhythm of the poem seems to bullet point these scenarios too, leaving room for us to digest them.
I love the final stanza - A smile is worth so much.
Kindest regards, Debra x

I ran out of 6 stars! But I'll give you two thumbs up for this inspiring and thought-provoking poem - Should droughts deplete the land? There are so many things happening around us but to remain hopeful and thankful at this time is a very good disposition every body should have. God bless you and Sawyer and Miranda! c", Mae

Thank you for providing me with two things that I have become fond of, great poetry from you and some great pictures of Sawyer. I obviously am greatly enamored with your writings and I am also fond of your grandson Sawyer.

Hi Brooke,

What a lovely sentiment. Sawyer's pix sets it off so nicely too. My favorite is the last stanza! Just sums it all up so nicely.

Cheers * Keep Smilin'... Jax
