good use of enjambment
The path is bent/where I went - not sure how where I went "gives depth"
unabated I patiently waited - my favorite couplet
I like the story you tell of this proposal proffered and accepted - it has left me smiling

The scene is a beautiful park with roses of love.

The picture taken is a little blurry must have been a fast shoot.

Hi, Treischel,
"The Proposal" has neat structure and very good rhyme. How ever so much of it so close together lends itself to being sing song in my reading. Excellent imagery of a marriage proposal. Also some good figurative language (the sweet caress of a whispered yes).
